Hello!
My daughter was born on Sep 24, 2001, just a few weeks after the 9/11 attacks. It was such a stressful time, but it was also joyful, too, because of my daughter. She is now in 2nd grade. I also have a 4 year old daughter and am excited about connecting with other online moms!

Thanks for the answer, Judy. I was curious to know! Allison also did gymnastics for a while, until it got too expensive! Now she will cheer for the YMCA basketball this winter. She's so excited to do that.

My son was born on Sep 23, 2001. I know you felt. I was put on bed rest the week after the September 11th attacks, so I continually saw the destruction on TV.

Hi Catherine, we live in California. Our registration deadline is in December, I believe (either Dec 1 or Jan 1, not sure). My daughter is one of the younger ones in class, but there are a few others. Some people with children who have Fall birthdays do wait another year (especially boys, I notice), but Tori was ready for Kindergarten at the time, so we went ahead and enrolled her. She loves school alnd also plays soccer, as well as gymnastics and Brownies. She also loves her little sis, but boy do they have blowups sometimes, especially when little sis "messes her stuff up" or "borrows" her toys. They have really different personalities. Nice to meet you!

Hi! I'm also new here..My daughter, Allison, was born on Halloween 2001. We just celebrated her 7 birthday! She has a sister that is exactly 18 months younger that was born on May 1, 2003. They get along fairly well, they have their moments, but I guess any sisters would! Then she has an older brother that is 10 1/2 years old, and gets along with him okay. They have some fights between them, but then there are times that they do help each other.
Allison's in the 1st grade plays soccer, cheer leading, loves to color and play on the computer. She's very energetic, always on the go!
Judy~ Allison's friend is born on the same day and year as your daughter, but is in the 1st grade. What state do you live in that the registration date is different? For our school district, it's September 1st. I'm curious to know! :-)
