Has anyone had this experience? Sarah's "kiki" is reddened and irritated. She keeps saying "my kiki stinks!!" I do not think the odor is too off, but raised 2 boys (she is 20 yrs younger than her brothers!!).Could bodywash be a poss culprit? She sees her pedi in Nov, and is adamant that she not expose her kiki to anybody

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

I found that Bubble baths can cause infections. Try feeding her yogurt...Once the infection is treated the yogurt seems to keep infections down...it worked for my daughter.

Did you ask her if it's itchy? The most common symptom of a vaginal yeast infection is itching in the vaginal and/or vulvar area. Also burning, and a bad smell. Yes, body wash could be the culprit, because it changes your PH levels. Stress, hormones, and excess moisture are also common culprits. Avoid having your daughter sit for long periods of time in a wet bathing suit, wearing tight pants, underwear, or pantyhose without a cotton crotch. laundry detergents (especially enzyme-activated "cold-water" formulas) and fabric softeners, or anything with a perfume in it like shampoo and body washes are no good for yeast infections either. I would go talk to your pharmacist and treat her for a yeast infection. Poor little thing !!!! Just one more wonderful thing we woman get to deal with!!
