My son started grade 1 today and I'm looking for some "updated" lunch ideas as opposed to sending the standard sandwich.

Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

salad wrap my daughter loves them , fruit salad, water mellon, apple banana his favorite fruit yogurt fruit tubs what ever fits into there lunch box/ lunch bag ,
wow grade 1 already and that late in the year thats odd well good luck

Have you tried tuna & pasta with salad cream or mayonaise , with a touch of tomato ketchup , my children love it . Also you could do chicken & golden vegetable rice , my children like this or chicken & salad wraps, my children like this too , hope this helps.

My son loves the peanut butter and jelly premade sandwiches that you get out of the frozen section. They have strawberry and grape. Put them in your freezer and by the time its time for lunch it thaws.
