What have you put your 2004 baby in?

Robbie started out with the little gym when he was 2, whiffle ball tball and soccer at 3, karate and tball at 4, swim team, soccer and tball at 5, soccer basketball and baseball at 6, and this year he did soccer, fall ball karate, and cub scouts so far. He wants to do basketball and baseball. I let him choose the pace but no more than 2 activities at the same time. Except for karate bc that is once a week in aftercare. I feel like its important for him to feel safe to make choices and explore hat he wants to do. Once he starts a season and commits to an activity he has to follow it through. And he learns the next time he chooses. He choose not to do the swim team again and he only choose to do basketball and soccer through his school this year bc of how much time the league took up. So in a few days he will be starting basketball and he is doing cub scouts-that is his 2. And when basketball ends he will have a break before baseball :)

We've done soccer and baseball (and he didn't care for them but it willing to give it another try next year), he enjoyed football and will continue next year and we do year round swim. We were looking at tae kwon do but it isn't offered until 7 where we live so we will have to wait another year before trying that one out and he'll do wrestling next year too. He also takes an extra curricular spanish class before school. I know some parents in my son's class that have their kids in something every day of the week including tutoring for kindergardeners....We def. have downtime still and I think manage not to overload.
