when to start trying again???

I had June 2007 twins and had our next little guy 21 months later. The twins are now almost 4 and the other is now 2 and we are expecting our newest little one in November 2011. It was busy for sure when the twins were not quite 2 and the new baby was born but they just loved him. In your case now, if you haven't already had your 3rd it will be a cake walk as your twins are preparing for school soon either this year or next unless of course you decide to homeschool then you will be very busy but they are able to help and understand now for sure. I had a great experience although busy but that part didn't bother me. I hope everything is working out for you just as your heart desires. Sincerely, Sherry from London Ontario Canada

Thanks betsy for the info. As i was telling megan i feel i am ready to handle what ever gifts God wants to bestow on me lol. But it is always nice to here from some one who has done it hehe! I could only imagine what your day must be like lol!

Sorry for not replying sooner lol. We are military. We have another ten years after here. I was military but when i had my 1st pg ( which i lost ) i got out to take care of said children. I think im there for wanting more now though lol. I agree with the whole starting over but plus side you would have your girls in school lol lol. Esp if it is just one hehe! I dont think i would know what to do with myself lol! But for me i think it was really just enjoying the moments with my kids and not worrying about oh no i didnt do this today in the house or i didnt spend this much time with my kids today so they will be for ever maimed. I know it sounds completely silly. But when they came early i guess i never really forgave myself. But now i just enjoy my family for all that it is worth. So now that i feel like i am putting my energy in the right places i can see room for another baby (s). RIght now we are stationed in spain. Kind of a loner here lol man i swear being in the military was ten times easier then being a spouse with kids!!!!!....and hubby goes to school ( we are on shore duty ) but i think i will need another sugery on my right arm ( had one on my left )So baby making will have to wait lol. I have finally either lost pounds or inches lol and in some ways fit back into my old clothes better but in other ways am almost there but not quit. I did want to loose most of the weight. I usually try to do yoga everymorning. This way my body is at least getting back into shape or there. I just think it will make either a mutiple or even a single pg that much easier....esp sine i already have kids lol. No loafing this time hehe! how is everything with you.

We are still waiting to try again, but I have done the older kids schedules with newborns. When we had our twins Apriil 07, we also had a 13 mo old, a 9 yr old and a 17 yr old. It is difficult with twins, or in my case it was 3 babies, running around with older kids. It definitely can be done, but you do have to allow more time for everything. Where it used to take me 10 sec to jump in the car and drive one kid 5 min down the road, now it requires getting 3 babies ready, doing all the car seats, etc, so it is just more time consuming. You do adjust though, and very quickly that becomes your normal.

I don't have an answer for you but I am right there with you! I want another but not sure what it will be like, and I know I will feel like I am starting all over. Of course the plus side is that you might only have one baby and then what will you do with yourself!!!!! I take it you guys are military? My husband is active duty Navy (16 years). I can only imagine what it would be like to just have one baby and both my girls in school, it would seem so much easier than it was 2 years ago with two upset infants!
