This is an ultrasound picture of our soon-to-be adopted son. The birthmother invited me to an ultrasound appointment. It was the most amazing experience of my life.

I went to all the doctors appointments. My first one was to hear the heartbeat. My birth mother just sat there unemotional. I was crying my eyes out. The nurse kept looking from me to her and finally our birth mother replied, "Oh yeah. I didn't introduce you. This is Mikayla's mother, Melessa." The nurse looked at us with a look like, "Well that explains it". It was the most wonderful day of my life. I was a mom. Good luck and congratulations.

How awesome!! You think that was great just wait until he is born!!! Do you have a name? Are you going to be at his birth? Congratulations! Keep me posted I would love to hear about his birth...
