My Haylie is now 11 months old. She is very independent already and is eating table food. She doesn't like/want her baby food any more at all. She gets sippy's of milk or water with meals and snacks. She loves to eat when she can feed herself. She takes about 20 oz of formaula a day and she wants to eat all the time. Is my 11 month old's feeding schedule normal? Is there any cause for worry that she wants to eat so often?

yea your 11 month old's feeding schedule is normal, as long as she's gaining the appropriate weight and happy I wouldn't worry about. I'm the oldest of 6 children, and I have two nieces and even with my son, they go through the stupid grazing phase. Which is annoying because you don't think they are eating lol. I just make sure that my son has food in his reach that he can snack on. I feed him 3 times a day and he grazes on his cereal and i give him his fruit to snack on. He seems fine and eats what he wants and the pediatrician told me it's normal :D

Nope. She will eat what she needs. It may be lots of small meals or a few big ones but as long as she's happy, still drinking enough so she doesn't get dehydrated, she is fine. A friend of mine's daughter went through a stage as a toddler when we swore she was surviving off air alone. She wouldn't eat anything! All she did was drink her milk and pick at her food for weeks. They just go through phases is all. Your daughters 11 month old feeding schedule sounds completely normal. Sometimes they eat like it's going out of style and sometimes they act like making them eat their favorite food is a crime. Welcome to toddlerhood. :)
