2 month olds can talk?

Well my son is going to be 3 in Dec. and he talks like a 1 yr old! Let me tell yo that it is hard to deal with.

yes! very normal my baby has been saying hi since she was about 4 or 5 weeks.. everyone thought i was crazy b/c i said she could say hi but i know what shes really talking about. lol. my daughter is now 7 mnonths and she says mom mama hi yes ok and all kinds of things. its amazing how we as humans grow from belly to air. ur children may be advanced but, these things are very normal. ur a mother. what u know and think about ur kids is normally the truth. good luck and have fun with the little babies

my son just hit 3 months and was saying hi since he was a month in a half he says mommy and daddy and he giggles when you play with him or even wen u talk to him

oh wow how neat!! babies grow at their own rates so they just might be crawling soon. my daughter was crawling by 4 months and walking at 8. if your son's began talking soon that would be amazing! just keep talking to them and encourage it.

I should add mine rambles incessantly all the time now! its so sweet! he sounds like the little girl from Monster's Inc. every now and then a single intelligible syllable will pop out but for the most part its complete nonsensical babble. he still yells "HEY!" when he is hungry.

Omg! This post has helped me realize I'm not crazy! My 1 month old has been yelling out a particular word for food since he was about 2-3 weeks. He ONLY says this right around his feeding time and I thought I was crazy until my aunt realized it also.

When his father is bathing him, he sometimes cries and I swear he is saying "No Daddy!"

Glad to be in the company of other non-crazy moms...lol

my little girl is 2.5 months old and i though i was imagining her talking! i swear she has been saying 'Hi' since she was a month old. she also says 'poo' and constantly says' A-goo' (don't know what that one means!). She also says 'Ma' and 'Da' and ive heard 'hungry' too when she crys!
The other night she was crying and said 'Ma....Mee'

Mine has been yelling very clearly the word "HEY!" when he gets hungry since he was about a month old. go figure. i really wanted his first word to be "ma-ma," OH WELL....

Not crazy! Babies develope their own words because they don't know the correct ones. keep encouraging it, narrate everything "Mommy's washing the dishes" or "I'm changing your diaper now"
I did this with my daughter when she was an infant (taught her sign language too) and when she went for her 1 year appt the doctor said she was talking like a 2 year old, and now at 3 years old people think she is a very short kindergartener lol

My son will be 4months old soon. Since about 2 months he's had words for mommy and daddy. I'm awaaa and hubby is aaadaaa. He will want me and do his whimpering and crying and be yelling awwwaaaaa and even get mom out. He also yells awwwaaa when he wants fed lol. Babies are smarter than you realize. My son was alert and holding his head up pretty well from birth. Just keep encouraging it and talking to them. :D

No you are not crazy, I heard my daughter say hungry when she was six weeks old, the following day she said Mom, as if I were embarassing her, the dr heard this one. Keep taliking to the children, chances are you and dad are rather intelligent.
I've never seen babies that young crawl, but you could have the next Steven Hawkings. (Okay, bad example, but you get my drift.) It seems quite advanced to me, but you have smart children, encourage it.
