My daughter has sweaty palms and feet, additionally they're cold.... Are sweaty hands and feet in infants normal?

hey yes my son had it to from birth his hands and feet were both cold but very sweaty, i used to massage cream on his hands and feet then at 7 months i started noticeing his hands had gone dry then at 8 months his feet were dry, i did ask my doctor about it and she said it was normal and most babies grow out of it, she said that if he still had it at 1 then i had to go back for some checks for blood circulations and stuff but luckily he grew out of it. his hands and feet are still cold sometimes but they are no longer sweaty. if you are really consurned about it i would go talk to your doctor at least then it would put your mind at ease. best wishes :)

my little girl was the same way....if she didnt have socks on her feet would be all sweaty, and my nephew was the same way when he was a baby......i think it is normal, i know quite a few moms who have said their little ones were the same way, and as far as the cold hands i think that is a circulation thing (same thing, my little girl had them too) i just massaged her hands to help the blood flow. she's 8 months now and the hand thing seems to have gone away

They are little versions of us. Do your hands sweat when you make a fist over long periods of time? Do your feet sweat. Mine too! LOL. Funny how we think babies are so different. My Grandma use to tell me to put a coat on my son when it was 70 degrees out. Eventually I figured out if I don't need a coat he may not either.

My son has the same problem. Most of the time has sweaty palm and feet. But I have not yet shared the matter with a doctor. He is 6 months of age. I don't know if it is serious or should I join those mums who are experiencing such a condition.

I noticed that my 6 1/2 month old son's palms and feet are sweaty a lot, too! I guess it's normal? You are def not alone!

My niece and my friend's son were both like that. I think it's normal. They're both almost 2 now and I think they've grown out of it. Maybe mention it at her next check up to see why it happens.
