i was just wondering how long does it last..
and what is normal for this period?
Aaiden will not sleep good unless he is on my chest and even then he seems to be fighting sleep. He is extreamly fussy. and wasnt like this when we brought him home from the hospital. He just turned 3 weeks yesterday.. This all started about Tuesday. Please tell me Im not alone.

my mum and I think that babies feel *growing pains*. Maybe try give him a little bit of baby panadol.

Totally normal! For the first couple of weeks after birth babies tend to be sleepy most of the time, after that they kind of 'wake up' to the world. It's probably a growth spurt so you just have to feed, feed, feed - it will seem like you can't satisfy him. He may not want to go to sleep because he still feels hungry.

Nope, not alone! My little one had a spurt at 2 weeks and now again at five. The first was about a week, this one is lasting a little longer. Just know it is normal and most important don't get frustrated, b/c then he will get frustrated. Every baby is different so I can't tell you how long it will last. Roll with it and know it won't last.

Growth spurts last about 2-3 days. Babies tend to eat more often during this time, which builds your milk supply if you're breastfeeding. See if he'll eat when he gets fussy. Growth spurts can be frustrating for moms, but they don't last. Soon baby will be back to normal. If this lasts a week or more, you may want to ask your doctor.
