i took a pregnancy test monday afternoon and it barley showed up positive. so the next day i took 2 more and they showed up more better. i went to the doctor yesterday and they gave me a test but it was neg so they took blood. i went somewhere else the same day and it came out neg too. today i bought another test different brand and it came out positive almost right away. what is going on? i wont get my blood results until tommorow

The chances are that you are pregnant, but there is a thing called a chemical pregnancy. It is when there is a fertilized egg that begins to implant into the uterus but never fully implants, usually ending in a late period. This will usually happen before you even realize you are pregnant, but it is still possible for your body to produce HCG but for the pregnancy not to flourish. I wish you luck!!

well, i have had a false positive on a home pregnancy test in the past. there is actually a weight loss suplement out there that has the pregnancy hormone in it. so i would say the best bet is gonna be the blood test. you never know with home pregnancy tests whether they are correct or not. I say congrats if you are truly pregnant! and good luck with the results hope they turn out some answers for you!

The chances of getting a false negative are a lot more possible then a false positive.In fact I think its almost impossible to get a false positive.

sounds like your pregnant. i was told by my dr that a test will not come up false positive so if you've gotten a pos. then you are. the pregnancy hormone is not in your system unless you're pregnant, therefore a false positive isn't possible. you could be very early so some of the tests aren't picking it up (especially if you're not taking them as soon as you wake up in the morning). good luck!
