have you been starting solids? My niece got a rash like that around her mouth when she started solids, but my sis in law didn't know it was from the food and kept going. she is now allergic to many things including beef, barley, carrots and pears and rice! (all first foods) if you think you can connect it to food, STOP that item until you see a doctor! If you wait a few months, you may be able to prevent a full blown allergy

My baby just got teeth last month (5 months old). He was drooling and sucking like crazy, which caused redness (not a rash, just redness). Just keep wiping his mouth so that his chin doesn't get chapped. Also, I put Aquaphor on it as much as I could (mostly when he was asleep). This helped to clear it up.

it could be thrush too, take her into the doc they perscribe an ointment for it my daughter had it they can also get it on their privates as well..

Could be from drooling. They make desitin (it's clear) that can be used any where. Keep her chin dry and it should clear up if that's what it is.
