Amber Teething Necklaces... anyone tried them??

i have just brought one for me my kids are well past teething i have been told by dr to take pain pill and dont wont to be on them all the time so have one on my rist i am hoping it helps this amba has so meny deffrent things it can help with like reduce inflammation of the throat ear and stomach and to fight inflammation infections and respiratory disease it transmutes negative into positive energy as well as revitalizes the mind, body and soul no oneder kids feel so good when wereing them heres hoping it works well for me

Thank you Sinead, she had such a terrible time with her first two teeth that I need to get her ready for the others! They just came through 2 weeks ago and it was so bad for her. I will check this out.

They are super safe lisa each bead is knotted there is no way they can come loose i got mine from ambersoothe.com and it cost 16 euro which i thought was ok for what it does you should try it and see for yourself i have no problem with my little girl and her teething so far so good !

Absolutly my 9 month old has 2 of them lol .. i love them she wears it all day even on her napps but i take it off her at night the amber releases a special kind of acid that is absorbed thru their skin i definatly know the days i forget to put it on Layla .. she has been wearing her's since she was 3 months old definalty helps with the dribble aswell as her cheeks dont flear up as much

oh and my little boy got his first teeth at 7months before i got the necklace and he was a nightmare at the time.
hence why i got him the necklace half way through when he was cutting his next 4 set of teeth at 9months.

i can't praise them enough!
even though after a while they started to loose effect on my son so i had to resort to giving him calpol.
but i got one when he was 9months old because he teeths really badly .. and as soon as i put it on i could see a huge difference in him .. he didn't have the tell tale red cheeks and he wasn't as irritable .. he used to wear it 24/7 .. i put it round his ankle at night .. because i feel its more beneficial if they wear it constantly .. plus teethings usually worse at night time so whats the point in taking it off??!
it was really effective for quite a few months but then like i said the teething symptoms reappeared .. i've only just recently taken the necklace off a few weeks ago .. he's 15months next wednesday .. and now his teddy wears it!
another thing i love about these necklaces is how adorably cute and trendy my little boy looked in it and being complimented on it and asked what it was what its for what it does extra by practically everyone .. health visitors and doctors included.

like i said it was a short miracle worker for me .. but after a while they start to loose their effectiveness.

hi my little girl is 11 months now and started teething about the same time as your baby i got the amber necklace and find it very good . It takes a few days for it to kick in but she is not at all bad with the teething . I put it on as soon as she wakes up in the morning and take it off at night just before she goes to bed , mind you she only has two teeth at the mo so have to wait and see what happens when the bigger ones start coming lol ! but best of luck anyway .

My son has a teething necklace. I bought it from www.karritreelane.com.au here in Australia. He doesn't seem to have any trouble with teething, no idea whether it's the necklace or if he would have been fine anyway. I'm not going to take it off to find out! Mind you, he hasn't actually cut any teeth yet, nearly 10 months and there are a couple showing through his gums. He's pulled it off a couple of times, the clasp has just bent until it opened and I bent it back into place. The beads are individually knotted so there's no risk of beads going everywhere.

i have one for my daughter if her necklace breaks the beads wont fall off they are tied on both sides of the bead i bought mine on etsy

I have never heard of these are they safe for a 9 months old hes pretty destructive. Obviously you take it off at night and during naps and you always supervise but can he break it??

Try Camilia or Hylands teething tabs. They are both homepathic remedies that can usually  be found in a drugstore  or health food store. Apparently they work really well and you can give as many homeopathic pills as you want and you cannot poison or harm your  baby.

I have a teething necklace and it did work for my son, later though. It helped him with his molars. and I had also put 2 (sp) talisme moti (they are little pieces of metal for india) that help as well, they cleared up the runny nose and stopped a fair bit of the drooling. If that helps any :)

is your baby fussy? is that why you give the orajel? i'm asking because sometimes gas can be confused with pain of the gums. mine also teethed at 3 months...the pool of drool told me that but i found that your clean finger gently rubbing your baby's gums will do the trick better than them chewing on a teether especially that he can't hold it yet anyway. if you think it may be gas & haven't tried it yet...Mylicon drops are awesome & the generic brand works just as great!

I used one made of hazelwood. It really helps with diaper rash as well because it neutralizes all the acidity.

It's been working really well, actually. You just need to make sure you put it on them first thing in the morning, and take it off for naps and for sleeping at night. It really does help, though. And they're super cute, too!

I just bought an amber teething necklace for my daughter Bailey. They told me that she has to leave it on for a considerable period of time in order for it to be effective. She does not chew it just leave it on and pray to God that it will help with the teething. I have not tryed mine yet.....I personally dont believe that it will work, but I'm willing to give anything a try. Good luck!
