Baby swing recommendation

Hi- I need a second swing. What is the best swing for baby 3 mos and up?

Definitely get one that swings both ways. My 8mo old son has always been soothed by his swing, through a bout of RSV and an ear infection. They're total lifesavers when your baby is sick and having a hard time sleeping! We have the Fisher Price Cradle Swing and I would recommend it to anyone!

I reccomend the graco swing, its a bit more expensive, about £70 but they can use it until they weigh 11kg which is about 9/12 months, the other swings are great too, but they normally go up to 9kg which is around 6 months, so if your bubs is already 3 months she wont get to use them for long. My daughter loves hers, it has 15 melodies and 6 different speeds (depending on the weight) We got her one when she 3 months old too.

Any of the Fisher Price Papasan swings, they swing both back&forth and side to side plus they have cute soothing music and the twirling mobiles are great too. I have the FP "Nature's Touch" but my son also loved the "Starlight" model. We had a travel swing that only went back and forth and he HATED it. I thought it was all swings he hated but then two weeks ago he tried my friends Papasan swing and was not just quiet in it but smiling and doing his giggles.. so I hunted one down on kijiji for cheap (but in excellent condition) and I'm sooo happy that I now have one. I just wish I had this one from the beginning because it could've been helpful the last three months. Even if its not swinging

Oh and Charlotte, the open top Rainforest swing has been recalled. See if you can take it back.

I have the new fisher price precious planet swing (like the rainforest Tara posted about) and love it. My two month old has been in it since birth because it reclines back enough for a newborn. And it swings both ways and that's awesome.

I've got the Fisher Price Rainforest Open Top Take-Along Swing. It's really good. It's got 5 different swing speeds and plays 7 different songs. It just folds away and is really light. It does run on batteries, but it doesn't drain them very fast, which is good.

The swing I got my son was the Rainforest one. It can swing 2 different ways and he loved it! Also you can plug it in so it doesn't just run on batteries. It is however one of the more expensive swings.
