Best diaper rash treatment?

I used a Melaleuca product called Renew. It works really well for nappie rash, excema, very dry skin, for hands that exposed to a lot of chemicals, or carpenters, etc. Fabulous!

I have heard great things about Butt Paste...I haven't gotten to use it though. My mom bought the double pack of Desitin at Costco and I haven't finished it yet. lol. Putting a whole lot of Desitin on a dry bottom usally does the trick over the course of a day.

Mix plain Vaseline and CornFlour and apply that to the area or try Antipeol ointment.I use Palmers BumButter and so far it has kept the nappy rash away(my son is 4 weeks old).

Let the skin completely dry, then put A&D ointment on it. Most diaper rash is caused from locked in moisture. This worked wonders for us.

Warm clean face cloth to clean with. Then add corn starch to the diaper area. Bath the baby with about 3 table spoons of baking soda. Not only will its clear up a diaper rash its great for preventing it too. I figure this why add all those chemicals from wipes and diaper creams when our mother, grandmothers and great grandmothers swore by corn starch and baking soda. Also check your wipes and cream for an ingredient called Lanoline. It is a common allergy in babys/children and the reaction looks like a diaper rash that never seems to clear up.

I use Boudreaux's Butt Paste diaper rash ointment...you can find it at Target for about $5 for the smaller tube and about $8 for the larger tube. This is amazing! Use it each time you change your baby and it will clear up everything in no time! It works so well that I only have to use it after I give my baby a bath now.

My Daughter had a real bad diaper rash we tried everything from destin to johnson and johnson even balmex but nothing seem to be helping so I took her to the dr and the cream they gave us stopped working so we finally tried The butt paste and it finally worked all i did was made sure she was dry and put about two layers on her rash and it has gone away. i also know that bag balm works too

Dry the area with cotton balls or tissues by dabbing then smear on vaseline and sprinkle a fair bit of corn flour into the nappy.... its old fashioned but it honestly works so well!!!

There's no bumps or splochiness at all.... it's only around his little crack and it's really red. I think I ate something too srtong for him and it made his poo really srtong and that's where it came from...

it may not be which kind ur using but how ur applying it. This is what works for me I may sure i pat my sons bottom dry with a soft washcloth before I put the diaper rash cream on otherwise u are trapping the moisture between the baby's skin and the cream. I suppose that could cause the rash to linger also try using a baby wipe that is alcohol free like huggies natural care. This works great for me whether I use plain desitin or butt paste. Also watch out butt paste does stain clothes. I hope this helps :)

i heard that bourdeaux butt paste or however its spelled and destin rapid relief work pretty good. my baby hasn't had a diaper rash yet, but i sprinkle johnsons cornstarch baby powder in her diaper to prevent it and it makes her bum super smooth. maybe try a different diaper brand/wipe, that could also make a baby breakout
