Brands of formula

Does anyone use generic formula either from Walmart or Target? If so, how is it and would you recommend it?

I'm using Food Lion Brand. I just looked at the can, it has a list of all the stuff in it and in the Similac and Enfamil. It's equal to Enfamil exactly and there are a few differences between it and Similac, but not much. I also have a pack of Walmart Brand and it has the list too, it's just about equal to similac.

The generic stuff made my son really constipated and puky so I had to stick with Enfamil or Similac. My daughter didn't have a problem with the generic stuff. We could use either the target brand, walmart brand, or enfamil with my daughter. Target and Walmat brand were cheaper so we stuck with those.

I started with similac for my son and it didnt agree with him so we started to buy the parents choice Gentle from walmart and he does fine on that now!

I use goodstart formula. It seems to mix better. My daughter likes it. Similac she hated. It made her stomach hurt and she didn't like the taste.

I used the generic Target brand. My son did great on it. All formulas have to meet the same safety and nutritional guidelines. So essentially, all formulas are the same. Some people just feel better dishing out double the cost for a name brand can.

But my son was totally a Target baby!
