I was in pushing to bring my daughters head down for about 30 min and I pushed her out in like 20 min. It took all of 50 min with the 2 combined. She is the only kid that I have right now. Loved it.

i was induced casue my daughter was laying on my sciatic nerve.. but i was in labor for 5 hours .. had an epidural but it didnt help much.. and then pushed for 3 hours.. i tore and had had an episiotomy.. i almost had a c-sec cause the cord was wraped around her neck.. nor forceps or ne thing like that to help.. she was 9lbs 1 oz... it hurt but i would do it again! Such a wonderful experience!!

I'm so glad I got to push and any mother that CAN have a baby vaginally should, it's such an amazing experience.. I was in labor for 23 hours and pushed for 2 hours and 10 min and ALMOST had to have a c-section. And I know have a beautiful, very active all over the place 9 month old daughter :]

I pushed for about three hours with little to no progression so had to have a C section

i pushed both times. 1st labour was 6 hours and took about 1 hr to push her out gas and pethidine she is 4 this yr . 2nd labour was 1 hr and i never actually pushed with him my body just took over and it was the most intense yet in a weird way it was painless i think it was 2 contactions and he was born. Drug free born at home didnt have time to get to our closest hospital! he is 19 months old

I pushed my daughter out..it took 38 minutes total. She was my first and only baby so far! So is now just a few days shy of being 9 months old!

It took 3 pushes for my daughter to come out after about 12 hours of labour and god knows how long having the urge to push. I'm hoping for another push birth, hopefully this time with no drugs.

My water broke in the middle of the night and i didnt start feeling contractions till after it was broken. I was in labor for 10 1/2 hours i was 3cm when i got to the hospital after 9 hours 45 mins i was checked and i was only 4cm i had no epridual because in our small town there isnt always someone in the hospital that can give it so i thought OMG im gonna die im only 4 cm after this long but 1/2 hour after that i was 9 cm and had the urge to push 15 min later my daughter was born

My contractions kept starting and stopping for a week, i was 4cm for 3 days and my waters would not break. My son was going to be 5 weeks early but managed to keep him in for another week before they broke my waters, labour lasted 8 hours and i pushed him out after an hour but had an epidural so it was difficult pushing as you cant really feel when you have to.

My labor in total was 7 hours. 2 and a half hours of that was pushing! She didn't by all means fly out! That may have been what aided me in not tearing! My daughter was 8lbs 5oz! I just hope with my next baby I don't have to push for 2 1/2 hours!

I pushed. My daughter it took about 45 minutes because she was my first and I didn't know what I was doing. Also couldn't feel the contractions because of the epidural so I wasn't sure when to push. My son I pushed thru 2 contractions about 5 minutes, he was practically out before I even pushed.

Pushed. It didnt take very long maybe a total of 30 minutes but I also had a ephidural. I rather enjoyed the experiance and was laughing at some points with my husband and nurses making jokes. I only experianced an hour of contractions, my water had broke at around 1 in the afternoon and I didnt go to the hospital until about 7 that night where my husband and I watched movies and hung out. I had contractions the whole time but didnt feel them until about an hour before actually giving birth.

i had a c section. i was induced. the pitocin made my son's heart rate drop so they took me off of it. after that i stopped having contractions. when the dr. checked me after being in labor for 12 hours i had not dilated at all. i was completely shut. a c section was decided after that. recovery for me was very easy. i stopped taking my pain medication after a few days. so glad i had a c section. not upset at all that i didn't have a natural birth, even though a natural birth is what i had wanted from the start. my son was 6lbs 4 oz and is now a healthy 18.7lbs. i would go c section all over again.

I pushed with just gas and air. My waters broke at 11:10pm and contractions didn't start until later. I was in active labour for about 6 hours and only pushed for 15 minutes. In the UK caesareans are only performed either in advance because the baby is breech/too big or in an emergency if the baby is in distress and needs to be out quickly. Even if I had the choice to have a caesarean just because I wanted one I wouldn't.

first daughter was breech and had to be a c-section; in labour with 2nd daughter for 15 hours which ended up in emergency c-section. was told because of how the scars were formed from the first one they would have split and ended up rather complicated... have been told if have another baby it would just have to be c-section for our health. Love hearing stories about natural births - think its impressive as! :D

My labor, which was induced, was 11 hours long & I pushed for 15 minutes. To make a very long story short, I had an epidural but the pump wasn't turned on. Didn't figure it out until after the first initial dose was administered and the epidural had worn off. When you go in expecting an epidural, you don't expect it not to work! I give women a lot of credit who go in wanting to go all natural. That's some severe pain!! lol

I have pushed twice lol ... my first son, who is nearly 9 years old ... was a 2.5 day labour and then 4 pushes, he was out! This time round, with my 3 month old, I had a drip induced labour, no drugs, contractions were 40 seconds apart, back to back for the last 2 hours of the 3.5 hour labour and I did a lot of pushing! I can't remember how many times, the whole thing was bloody traumatic and 10 times worse than labour coming on naturally ... never again! I might add, this baby was 10 lb 15 oz and I had noooo stitches LOL.

I pushed with no drugs. Took 10 mins to push my little girl out, was in labour for about 2 hours and prior to that i thought i was having braxton hicks but the dr believes i'd been in labour for about 6 hours. I dont class it as labour as it wasnt painful and i was still at home doing my normal thing. I also had no drugs at all :)
