My baby is 2 weeks old and has terrible colic. Any advice on how to soothe her?

Hi - I understand what you are going thru. How do you know already that she is colicky? I would treat it as gas at first and see if that helps things. Mylicon worked great for us. We had a colicky baby who eventually was on medicine until she was 5 months old. I would see if Mylicon works well & really focus on burping her a lot....hope that helps. If that does not seem to help much then take her in to the doctor and they will ask a bunch of questions to diagnose it.

Have you read The Happiest Baby on the Block book? The 5 S's work really well. Swaddle, Side/Stomach, Shush, Swing and Suck. The book is also in DVD form if you don't have time to read. I have a 3 week old and I couldn't even imagine trying to read a book right now!

Try warming up a towel in the dryer and wrapping her in it just make sure the towel isn't too hot. it helped my little guy.
