could a rash on my 6 month back of neck and head be teeth related? he is getting two teeth on top!

thanks so much, i notice when he his lying on his back when he sleeps or is being fed he sweats alot, maybe is from that!! :)

The heat rash explanation is probably right, my son gets them when he is in the car seat on a hot day. He also gets a rash on his head & neck from his bib. Usually the ones with velcro on them bother his skin.

My daughter always gets rashes when she teeths. sometimes they are on her face but they can be anywhere on her body. Her Dr. suggested hydrocortisone cream which does help. I tried different lotions and baby washes. I give her benedryl at night if it is really bad. I also add a few table spoons of baking soda to her bath water. The baking soda has worked great and she has very clear skin right now.

I have never heard of a child getting a rash there from getting teeth. However, my son used to get really bad heat rashes in that area from being held (he was born in August so it was really hot). Could it maybe be that? Heat rashes pop up all around the neck sometimes, diaper line, really any place but usually where there is a fold of skin or a place that gets a lot of heat.
