Did you have smaller breasts after breastfeeding?

I was a nice B and while nursing I definitely got bigger but not sure what size, probably a D. After my first I noticed I was smaller than before...I was now an A! But my breast were still perky and nice...until after my 3rd! They began to sag, though there isn't much to sag. Not much changed after number 4. I nursed all my babies for at least 15m. I always have nice big, but not too big, breast while nursing and then they disappear :-(! I noticed that my mom, who didn't nurse, doesn't seem to have saggy breast or the lovely stretch marks! But I wouldn't trade nursing for nicer breast...on most days lol!

You are going to hate me, but mine were a weird 36c before and I was a size 8. Now I'm a very round and perky 34ddd and a size 2 after having dried all the way up.

Most of the size of you breast is made of fat. When you feed your baby the milk making parts of the breast have to get larger which either makes your breast swell up or pushes some of the fat out of the way. After your baby weans the milk parts shrink back a bit, but the fat doesn't always come back when their is room for it again.

I was a D before my first and went up to a DD while nursing her then back to a D when she weaned. With my second, my breasts already knew what to do so nursing didn't grow them any. Because I had to eat a lot healthier due to her allergies I lost a lot of weight and they actually shrunk to a C while she was still nursing.

Having big breasts is just asking for back trouble anyway. The only reason people obsess about them is because we were conditioned to turn them into sex objects when "science" decided we should feed our babies bottles of chemical slop instead of the food they were designed to eat and breasts didn't have an important job anymore.

I love reading these posts!!! Now for my story...i was a B in high school, then went up to a C in college. With my first child, a girl, I jumped to a D, and stayed there even after 4 months breastfeeding. Then I had a boy and no change--- breastfed 7 months. 8 years later another boy an no change---breastfed 10 months. About 2.5 years later, another girl....and there was change!! My boobs were so huge that I thought I would suffocate the poor child if I didn't hold them up while nursing!! I was/am a DD. And still there 18 months later.... My girls did me in on boobs!! I don't normally mind....until my back starts hurting....

It truly is amazing how each woman's body reacts differently to pregnancy and such!!!

Before I got pregnant for the first time I was a D. Now after 3 pregnancies I am a G. During this pregnancy I have not grown thank god. But I am scared I will get bigger.

I hate mine, I decided this yesterday, lol. My boobs went up to maybe a B while I was pregnant, milk never really came in so they stayed that size, I was an A before. Now my right boob looks like it did before (always the smaller of the two) and my left is closer to a B long, it points to the floor and the other points to the sky. I hate it! I would rather have my barely B's back from before! I'm trying the sports bra idea. Also hoping when all the weight is gone they will go back to normal, I have a lot of A cup bras!

i know your pain. My boobs were my greatest aspect. I was a size C-D, while i was pregnant i was a full D then breastfeeding i was a DD. After bf for 8 months i am now barely a C, more like a B and am saggy and wrinkly. I want my old boobs back too! I'm hoping my next child will help make them bigger again for good but that wont be for another year at least. I'm hoping to discover something great to make them become what they used to be :-(

I was a F in highschool, had a breast reduction, was a B/C afterwards, went up to D while pregnant and a DD while breastfeeding but now... my right boob is a C and my left boob is a DD!!!!! How awful to go through the pain of a breast reduction only to end up with uneven boobs!!!! I'm still breastfeeding so I'm hoping they'll even out a little soon but I don't know what I'm going to do. Surgery is no longer an option both financially and because I want to breastfeed in the future.

I was small before having my baby - went up to a B (thrilled!) and after nursing I went back down to an A. Thank goodness for padded bras!

I believe that it depends on the person. Me.... I was not able to breastfeed but I went from a B-C to a DD after my son was born... AND THEY WON't go back. Its actually annoying. They do not exactly fit my size. I assumed that because I do not breastfeed that they would of went back real quick, nope, so I believe that it just depend on the person and everyone is different

i was a D-DD before pregnancy..only went up to a full DD whilst pregnant than EE after whilst breastfeeding (yay!! it was nice to have big boobs to balance out the empty jelly belly!)....since stopping im barely a full D and they're def not where they used to b and r sporting a few more wrinkles :( thank god i only breastfed for 4 wks! as much as i dont want to, im thinkin i kinda just have to accept it...!

Well before my three children I was my nice size c cup. I had my first child, I breastfed for a few months and ended up with a D. Second child started out as a D and ended up DD. Third child started a DD and thankfully hasn't changed.LOL I miss my C cup. I wish mine would have done what yours did.LOL

i was a d before i got pregnant and during pregnancy they just got a little bit fuller which was a dissapointment i wanted huge boobs but when i got home from the hospital i put on a bra and to my astonishment they actually shrunk a full cup size:( 7 weeks later they still havent come back unless im engorged...there is a herb or something in beer i think it might actually b hops that is scientifically proven to help grow boobs u can buy it in pill form at the health store

Like you, I was a B before breastfeeding. I got up to a DD and BOY was I sporting that! First time in LIFE I had cleavage! Man I miss it! LOL How weird would I be to have another child, just for the boobs?
I managed to get most of my body back, my boobs are now a B again, but now they are a B LONG. They hang a bit lower. They still fit in a B bra, but if I take the bra off, they are draped down my belly, resting on my knees.
There are exercises that can help, hands and knees on the floor, do a pushup, but put your arms out BESIDE you instead of under you. This is going to work the muscles that "hold" the boobs UP.

I have been using skin firming Nivea lotion with Q10 since the baby was born. The Q10 is supposed to be great for tightening up that soft saggy skin. Seems to be helping my boobs and belly! :) A great moisturizing body wash, I like anything with Vitamin E. Lots of Vitamin E... and drink lots of water. Soft supple skin comes from being hydrated.

Use a nice tight bra, I like sports bras. There is no under wire and they do an amazing job of holding things TIGHT against your chest in a position that they USED to be in. If you can manage to wear the sports bra for a few weeks, take a look at a before and after picture. The sports bra is going to "mold" your body the same way Chinese women used to mold their feet with binding. Foot binding involves breaking bones then binding the feet really tightly to make them mold into a tiny foot with a really high arch. Without breaking bones, we can use half of that practice to 'shape' our boobies back into something that looks close to a boob...with binding, in a tight sports bra.
