Does anyone have any recommendations for a diaper that won't leak at night?

We have tried the 2 pampers nighttime diapers and they were a HUGE disappointment for us. They leaked everywhere! We started putting in a liner for clothe diapers (Bummis Stay Dry liner) and they helped a lot but she still sometimes leaked. So then we added putting a diaper cover over top. And we went up a size in all cases.
Tonight will be the first night we try the huggies nighttime diapers. Hoping they work much better!

We also use a size up at night. During the day pampers swaddlers size 2, at night size 2-3. Haven't had a leak yet!

Consider giving cloth a try, at least at night. If you have a good, thick cloth diaper and a good cover, it doesn't leak. I've used cloth diapers on both my kids and think they're great! (if you're interested, check out the Cloth Diapered Munchkins community here for lots of info...)

We use Huggies overnights and usually a size up from what she wears during the day. We never have leaks!

I use huggies size 3 for my daughter and she goes down at 7.30pm and gets up at 7.30am, admittidly i do change her at about 12 ish, but i the nappies are designed to hold everything for 13 hours and i know they would, cause 1 night i forgot to change her ( i was very ill) and it did hold everything !

I read the posts on this thread as I am having the same issue. I'm partial to Pampers since the Huggies didn't work for me when my son was very little (maybe the larger sizes are better?) but I tried the Pampers Baby Dry (I use the cruisers during the day) in a larger size but I still had leaks. Then I noticed that Pampers also has an "Extra Protection" diaper. I don't know if it's a new product but I don't remember having seen it before. It's specifically for overnight use or when traveling and it has kept my son dry for the last 3 nights (in spite of the usual very full diapers in the morning).

The tena liners  work well? this thought crossed my mind as i use cloth nappies through the day and i find that i have to change nappies quite often.

Yes i also agree with the huggies suggestion- i also find that they are a little bigger than other brands aswell- i have tried the toys r us brand Especially for baby, i think its called and found they are a smaller fit and feel stiffer.

Go up a size at night. I did with my son and he would wake up with a very wet diaper but a dry sheet. People told me to change him at midnight but my son has slept through the night since he was 6 weeks old and I was not going to disrupt his routine. Once you get them used to waking up, you're screwed with getting them to sleep all night again.

i've had GREAT success with Huggies Overnights. They are wonderful. My daughter was the same, fine during the day, but got soaked at night, especially when sleeping on her belly with her butt in the air.

cloth. Honestly, we use cloth now at night because the other ones dont work. WEve used pampers huggies "moms to moms" everything and she owuld always wake up wet. WE used cloth during the day but thought paper would take away the moisture against her skin better at night. It didnt.

I would suggest getting a few cloth diapers (we use bum genius) if you're up for the washing

Now I have a boy and I've heard that diapers work different for boys and girls, but we like the Pampers Baby Dry for him.  They have not leaked for me once (knock on wood) and sometimes if he falls asleep early he goes 9 or 10 hours in the same diaper overnight.

Doesn`t matter for us. My wee one would always pee so much more at night that i would put him in a diaper one size up at night and it made all the difference. so trya size four at night and stick to the size three during the day. good luck.

I use Pampers during the day but Huggies at night! Huggies are SUPER absorbant but I find that you can smell the urine even after only one or 2 pees so I only use them at night. But they are great for no-leaks :)

i had the same problem with my son and i have to saythat the huggies natural fit(not the regular they do leak) work the best!! he has not leaked since i started them

We have found Costco diapers to be awesome! They are comparable to Huggies but tons cheaper and we love them. Never had a leak! Hope they work for you if they are available to you...

I always use pampers and they have never leaked and let me tell you he Has a FULL diaper in the morning, lol.....I use pampers stay dry though cause the pampers cruisers leaked at night for me.

I use Huggies...and they've been awesome...no leaks.  When my son was firstborn we got sent home with pampers, and he leaked through pretty much every diaper.  We haven't had a leak yet with Huggies.

For  my son,overnight I use the next size up from what he suppossed to wear.  Then I dont have to change him during the night and waking him up. oh and I use pampers.

I use snugglers or softies have a night time diaper which is pretty good too. thats if you can get them they are cheaper. but huggies are pretty good

My son wears Huggies 'Snug & Dry' size 3 during the day, and Huggies 'Natural Fit' size 4 over night.  When he would sleep in the size 3 diaper he would leak almost every night by 4am.  Since the switch...no leaks.

The only diapers Ive used that havent leaked are pampers cruisers. the regular pampers leaked and huggies leaked for me. They are then next step from swaddlers, which also i found never leaked.

With my son I used to have to put vinyl pants on him at night.  They sell the Gerber ones in many different sizes at Walmart.  That was the only thing I found to help as I tried every single diaper on the market trying to find one that wouldn't leak over night and not one worked.  Goodluck.

My daughter is in size 2 still, but a friend of mine told me that her daughter leaked out of Pampers. She had to switch to Huggies once her daughter out grew  the Swaddlers from Pampers. Have you tried the Pampers Cruisers? I believe they are  more designed to be like the Swaddlers.

I have either used huggies or Tesco's own brand and they have been great, sometimes it helps to go a size up.... hope that this helps
