I've been doing the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. It's awesome. I had my daughter 12 wks ago and started working out as soon as I was told I could. I also run on the treadmill. My daughter is my second child and I learned with my first that as soon as the Dr. says to workout, you can resume to full strength. I gained 40lbs with my son and kept 10lbs because I felt that I needed to take baby steps after having a c-section. I gained 25lbs with my daughter and have lost 15lbs so far(she was also a c-section). The 30 day shred has definitely made me feel like things are getting toned. It's only 20 mins, but intense!

hiya....i think i was lucky in the factthat i've got 3 hrses and 2 dogs so i did a lotof mucking out and walkingmy dogs with my daughter eleri in her pram first then in a rucksack but dont over do it cos u cause more problems. little tip for the belly tho when u bend over ur child breathe in and hold ur stomac muscles in for a couple of secs then release and do this everytime u bend over eg hoovering, dusting, walking with the pram, shopping and the belly soon dissappears hope this helps and its very cheap too costs nothing! :) x

Quoting Monica:

i am interested in this as well. i had my son 6 weeks ago and am eager to lose the extra weight in my belly, hips and thighs. it is so frustrating not being able to fit into any clothes and it isnt very fun still wearing maternity clothes. everyone keeps telling me that the weight will come in time but if i can speed up the process by having a workout that really works that would be awesome. i dont know about you, but i am not really into exercise other than walking, maybe doing some workout videos.

I'm the same way that's why I got the Core Secrets workout. It was easy, I could fit in a lot better than going to the gym, and It was cheaper. It's considered a low impact workout, but it does the job. One of the big ways it helps is while you're sitting on the ball you need to balance and the only way to do that effeciently is to use your ab muscles. It takes a lil bit of getting used to. I fell off the ball a few times when I first started. LOL. But it's a great and fun workout. And what's really cool is that both my kids like to try to do it along with me on their balls. LOL

I started the core secrets ball work out after my son was born 5 years ago and it worked awesome for me. It costs 40 dollars at Target. In the box it comes with the ball, workout dvds, and meal planners and some recipes. The trainer for Core Secrets is Gunnar Peterson. I love this work out. Hope this helps.
