Baby powder causes infections (yeast infections) because it become thick and doesn't allow her "area" to "breath". Kind of like a little bit of water in flour. The only example I could think of. Creams do not cause infections that I have heard of. Also, baby powder shouldn't be used on babies because it is also very bad for their lungs!! Keep using the creams, she will be fine mama!!

The cream will do good. Otherwise, it won't be recommended. Stop applying the baby powder at her private place and wipe it with warm water every time you change her diapers then followed by the cream.
