I need all the information I can get on colic. I think my 7 week old has it. He screams like something is hurt him and then will stop for a few minutes and starts back up again...this usually happens only at night...and he seems very gassy but gas drops don't seem to help. Please help!

i also changed her milk to cow and gate comfort which made a big difference :)

it was the exact same with my daughter who is now nearly three, colic was one of the hardest things i went through, the one thing i found to help was going out for walks in the buggy even if it is late at night. and also dentinox colic drops. also helps if you change your bottle teets to anti collic ones, i hope something helps as i know how hard it is.

Are you breast feeding? Like Kellie said, different foods can change the flavor of milk, and make them gassy. If he is on formula, you may want to talk to the doctor about what kinds of formula can help....

Hey Aron, so sorry you are dealing with this. Colic can be awful. I know the bouncy seats that vibrate can often help. Good luck!

try lightly massaging his belly in the direction the bowels go (I *think* its left to right), also bicycle legs might help to shift the air for him. You can try rolling up a towel (not too high though) and lay him over it on his belly in his pram and run the pram over a bump repetitively.
Other than that I got nothing. Except you diet, if you're Breastfeeding have a look at what your eating, if it's things like onion, garlic, lots of dairy start to eliminate or cut down and see how it goes.

It sounds like colic. Colic normally happens around the same time everyday, it always has a predictable pattern. You know its colic when there is nothing you can do to make your baby stop crying.
