Wow. I've never heard anything about this. I've eaten a ton of chocolate and my 4 month old seems fine.

The only thing I have ever heard about eating chocolate while breastfeeding is that it can give your baby gas.

I don't have any "facts" on this, but from personal experience I have not seen a difference. I guess it could be possible. Everyones body handles things differently....

I haven't heard anything about chocolate affecting your milk production or baby. It is the same about all foods tho that you consume will go to your little one. Chocolate does contain caffeine but probably not enough to really truly affect him unless you are eating pounds and pounds lol. I know you can have soda and coffee in moderation just like while you are pregnant when you are breastfeeding.

I believe most Chocolate contains caffeine...I can see it possibly keeping you lil one awake. I'm not sure but i heard caffeine can effect your milk supply...But i'm thinking you'd have to eat a crazy amount??
