24 hours after it is thawed ..freshly expressed milk can be stored in the fridge for up to a week. And even if it is within thhose guidelines i always smell it and find that sometimes it just doesnt smell right even if its only been a few hours so I toss it out and get a new one.
you are fine to combine bags. what i do is, put hot water in a metal loaf pan and put the bag in for a few minutes till the bag is thawed...the bag will cool the water down as it melts...so it doesnt make the milk really warm...then just separate the milk into the different bottles. Even if the milk gets too warm b4 its separated its still fine to refridgerate it, and as long as baby hasnt drank from the bottle...you can get 24hrs!!
I exclusively pumped for 8 months,..so if u have any questions..feel free to message me!! good luck
