I just noticed that Keegan's infant seat is getting small. We have decided that we will be doing extended rearfacing carseats. I want one that will last for a long time, is releatively inexpensive, and is SAFE. Any suggestions?

i didnt have any problems getting it in. i thought it was pretty standard. it was confusing at first because there were so many places the seatbelt could go. but we got it in and the police dept my uncle works for checked it out and made sure it was right. i am going to hopefully keep him rear facing until two... we'll see how that goes.

I found one that is called Safty First Omega and it is a rearfacing that can also be a forward facing one as well and goes up to 80lbs. It's at walmart on sale for $100 and has had nothing be great reviews!!

SEARS has a great one.that is also inexpensive and will last a long time and will change as she grows.

I love my sons car seat! "Even Flo" Its a convertible car seat. I got it from target, and and can be used from 15lbs up to 65lbs. It comes with alot of padding, but can be taken out, the bigger they get. Just make sure you read ones, that may have recalls on them. Lately i have head about a lot of em. "Even Flo" was one of the most safest!

@ Christine - I was looking into getting the Graco 65 but have been hearing that it's really hard to install rear facing (ironic). Did you have any difficulty with that??

graco my ride 65 has good reviews and goes up to 40# rear facing. i looove it

i have been checking them out also. i did find one at walmart can't remember off hand. but it is rear facing until 35# and you cannot turn it around until they are 35#?
