I had swelling in my ankles and hight blood pressure and protein in my urine! They kept watching me and watching me but nothing ever happened. I lost my mucus plug about 2 wks. before I delivered and they should have induced me! The doc. came in the next day to check on my little one and she said she looks wrinkled like she is was overdue!! It really scared me cuz she was only 6lbs 15oz and what would have been her weight if she was induced! March 3rd she was born and they were actualyl going to induce me March 4th if I didn't have her cuz they found somethng wrong with my blood when they did a blood test! I was at work one day and I felt like my eyes were heavy and I kept getting blurred vision and they said its cuz I had high blood pressure and I never gave any thought!

lets see with my first daughter i had been really sick and it never went away, it turned out i had gallstones and kidney stones, and had to have surgery when she was a month old to have my gallbladder out, with my second daughter i was really sick and had kidney stones, and with my third daughter the pregnancy went fairly well i was only sick for my first trimester but later on found out i was diabetic so had to go on the diet and stick to it so it was realitivley a easy pregnancy for me, til i went in to be induced to make sure she didnt get to big, i labored for 18hours because she didnt want to come down all the way, finally she was born but she had her cord wrapped around her neck three times, i was so tired when she was born but i did notice that the whole room and world stopped til she cried her first breath. she was fine and had no problems from then on :)

well 5 live births and never an epidural but very long labors . 8 yrs later # 6 i started spotting at 9 weeks. sent to a specialist because i was 35. well come to find out i was complete previa. ok so what . i wasn't going to take it easy. had to work you know. week 19,20,24 back at the hospital more bleeding. they told me to take it serious. kept working at home depot sitting on a stool and then jumping around at my daughters first b-ball game cramping the whole time. i was always crampy so what. that was week 26.next morning woke up to baseball size clot. i had previa before on the side and bottom but it moved out of the way up the wall to deliver in time before. well this one was all on the bottom and going no where. i got to the hospital. my dr was not happy i went to the game. he said i could die within minutes. i wasnt going any where. 2 weeks later they were going to send me home at my 28 weeks and i sat up that morning and was gushing blood. contr. every 2 min. they slammed me down on magnesium(awful stuff) and was going to prepare to deliver. i laid there scared and things slowed down . they gave me steroids for babies lungs preparing for the worst. i had numerous iv placements at which i cried cause i had horrible veins and they needed a good spot in case i needed a blood transfusion.so then 4 weeks before i had him i had to get a central line in my chest. oggg! a total of 12 weeks through halloween and new years and kids b-days. i had 3 more bleeds but they were trying to hold off for the babys safety. 37 weeks proved an immature lung developement. i was scared to bleed again . wanted it done and over. had to wait. at 38 weeks they planned a c-sec(cause you cant do natural with placenta covering the cervix) for that fri. it was mon. i also had to worry cause i never had a surgery past my birth when i was born with my insides on the outside. we didnt know where things were.i didnt want them cutting bowel. Very scary. well monday instead of fri im on my phone just talking fine. i was allowed to pee again instead of bed panning it at 4 pm so i stood up and blood every where.i sat back down and the nurse came in and they said we go NOW.why ? i wanted to know what was going on but no time for spinal . i am allergic to so many things they also had to have the O.R. just right . it was scarry. they poked , yelled at each other about where my extra blood was and i just kept shaking. couldnt have anyone in there with me. they pushed on my airway hard and then i was out. i woke in pain and 2 days later i had lost too much blood they had to give me a blood transfusion. tubes tied. i couldnt do this again ; chances would be very high.now hes almost 12 weeks and the time has flown but in the hospital it was forever. i am greatful we are alive . don't ever take having children for granted. they are precious and i have seen too many friends loose theirs and a dear mother barely make it without over a 100 units of blood to save her. Jesse Ely is my special one.

I had lots of problems before my little one got here... I bleed early in my pergnancy at 4 months my cervix was dilating I had gestational diabetes, I was in and out of the hospital because I was having the most painful contractions and then finally at 39 week I went into labor and was in the hospital with lots of pain and not any progress they started me on potocin when I was at 2cm to get my contractions in a pattern when that took of they broke my water a 5cm and there was meconium in the amniotic fluid, them on top of that the babys heart rate started to drop with every contraction and the icing on the cake was the emergency C-Section I had to get becuse the cord was wrapped around her neck.. But thankfull my baby girl is great.. And healthy and that is all I can ask for..

I never had morning sickness when I was pregnant with either of my children. I never had any problems with my first one. My second I found out that I was anemic in my seventh month and I had to be put on iron pills. I never had any problems in birth with either of my children everything went pretty smoothly.

Fortunately no. I did have anemia pretty badly with my second but was able to raise my levels to a threshold where my midwife felt comfortable attending a home birth. It was sketchy for the last few weeks. I really didn't want to go to the hospital!

I developed gestational diabetes...that was not pleasant. I had to be put on insulin and follow a special diet. It wasn't all bad, I gained the recommended amount of weight and lost it all in a matter of 3 weeks after my baby was born. I also had a crazy OB doc and he made it kind of stressful on me. I had to have non-stress tests done once a week starting at 30 weeks and then 2 times a week a few weeks after that. I got ultrasounds every month to see how the baby was growing Let's just say I got to know the people in the office really well. I also ended up getting induced, which was scary, but it turned out well and I had a pretty good labor and delivery. I'd do it all over again for my little baby girl.

I had bad morning sickness from 6-11weeks.  I was in the ER every weekend to get iv fluids cause i was sooo dehydrated.  At 9 weeks i was hospitalized for a week and they had to put a central line in my neck cause all my veins elsewhere were collapsing.  It was the worst!  Then at 5mos me and hubby were in a bad car wreck I had a concussion but luckilly nothing was wrong with baby.  Still doc considered me high risk and I was in for check ups like every 2 weeks.  At the end he said my fluid was low and at 38 weeks was induced.  I only dilated to like 4cm after about 2 days.  So Mia was born via c-section.  She was beautiful and healthy thank god!  But my stitches busted open after a few days of being home from hospital and it was a very painful recovery.  7 mos later I still remember all of this and hopefully if there is a next time it will be better and wayyyy different.  lol

My pregnany was pretty good. Besides the early morning sickness and the high blood pressure towards the end, everything was great. My little girl was 10 days overdue and so i had to get induced. After nearly 18 hours of pain and only being 3 cm dialated, my little girl was in distress and her heartrate was getting lower and lower. They gave me an emergency c-section because she needed to get out. Once out, she wasn't breathing properly and needed to be put on oxygen. I never got a chance to hold her after she was born because she needed to be whisked away. She stayed in the NICU for 2 days with oxygen and anti-biotics and on the 3rd day, she was well enough to stay with me. My daughter now is 10 months and is the light of my life. she is a happy little girl who is just an absolute delight!!!!!!! love her to bits! xo

Hiya my pregnancy and birth were hell with my first daughter who is now 6.5yrs.Couldn't eat in the pregnancy everything made me feel sick which i think is worse than being sick i had migranes for 9mths and lost so much time off work i was really moody and had high blood pressure from 5 mths.Had to go into hospital for check up at 37wks as felt unwell, was attached to a monitor for about 40 mins when all of a sudden the room was full up with doctors.i was stripped and had a gown thrown over me they were doing all sorts while rushing me down a corridor when a nurse said 'so are you ready to meet your baby'. I hadn't known till that point that i was being rushed to theatre as my baby was in distress.I was put to sleep and the next thing i know it's 6hrs later and i had only just come round for my husband to tell me that we had a baby girl.I was then wheeled to the special care unit where i sore my daughter for about 5mins then was taken to the ward with a photo and i cried all night long.My daughter spent 2 days in the unit and the nurses were too busy to wheel me round there as couldn't walk due to the c-section so had to wait till my husband was there to take me.when at hame 5 days later i started having panic attacks and suffered pnd for about 4yrs which put me off having another one till last year when i had my son.Had a fantastic pregnancy and really bonded with my bump, got high blood pressure in the last mth and had to be kept in on my due date as was too high.was induced 2 days later and then 2 days after that my son was born naturally with 2 hrs of labour and it was fantastic.xx

i had morning sickness my whole pregnancy it sucked! i was in and out of the hospital because i was so sick and sometimes i couldnt even drink water so i hooked up to an IV just to rehidrate me! 4 days befor my water broke i went to meet my doc and he did an exam and i was 1cm and 50% afaced! so i was sent home! then the day my water broke (at home) i was so tired and just felt weird, so i called my inlaws to come over so i wasnt alone (just in case) because my husband was a work and is hard to get ahold of. my hubby came home at about 4:30 and was just sitting down to eat. i couldnt eat and felt sick so i went to the bathroom and thats when my water broke! i called my husband and told him to get my bag and start the car we needed to go to the hospital. when i got to the hospital i was contracking hard and steady. they gave me a drug and said we cant deliver you here so you have to go by abulance 1hr away :( by the time i got there, whatever they gave me befor i swear it stoped my labour! i laboured for 24.5 hrs i had 2 eppies, 3 cans of laughing gas. at this point i lend up looked at the "male" doc and said ....... get this effin thing out of me! he said i KNOW it hurts then left the room. 2 min later he came back in but this time he brought in the OB she did and exam and looked at him and said " what are you doing look at the father theres NO way she can do this plus her cervix is swelling shut". she told my husband that i had to go for a c-section asap. so of to the er. as i was waiting for the docs to be ready i was still contracking and in so much pain i was rocking and monning. the nurse said u have to be still, i told her i would be when shes ready till then i got to deal with the pain! when they gave me the spinnal it was like heaven :) lol and befor i knew it i heard my boys first cry. they cleaned him up and my husband got to hold him till they where all done with me, then they said give baby to his mom and i got to hold my boy!!

Hi had problems in the pegnancy, i bled at 3 week and was taken to hospital and kept in for 3 days. A week before my du date i was having contractions and my back waters went although the nurses on the ward didnt agree. I was in slow labour and then a week after my little boys due date, i went to hospital with unbearbale pain and was only 3cm dialated. I had gaand air until i was 10cm. I had my waters burst for me. The nurses had m pushing at 8pm, i had been in since 11am. They then discovered that my baby wasying back to back and so his head wasnt going to go into the birth canal and deced to give me a C-section. I could feel them testing my stomach just before the c-secion and so i was given a general anastetic. came round 3 hours later after my baby was born at 3.06am. for days after i was kept in hospital due to the pain of the c-section.

I had a problem during birth. We (Jade and I) laboured for 12 hours at home before we discovered meconium in the amniotic fluid. then laboured for another 12 hours at the hospital, the last 5 1/2 hours in transitional labour lasting from 5 to 10 minutes each while not dialating more than 5 cm. It was then decided to administer drugs and do a c-section before Jade pushed her way out of a too small hole!
