Hates bath time...?

My 3 month old daughter HATES getting a bath. She'll scream through the entire process and then it takes some time after wards to calm her down. At first I thought the water just may be too cool so I made it a bit warmer... Ive tried just sponge bathing, changing the water temperature, nothing works. Its hard to bathe her at night for her routine to calm her when she freaks out.

Any ideas, advice, or do I just have a baby who hates water?? :)

You should try a tub where he is some what submerged. My little one gets mad when she gets cold. I constantly pour warm water on her while she is in there so she doesn't get too cold.

My  daughter  who is now 4 years  old  hated  baths I  had to  bath  with her  and it  works  well if  you breast  feed and  she  came to  trust   bath time.

My son is almost 4 months old and had the same exact bath tub and absolutely hated bath time. Now he gets in the tub with mommy and LOVES every minute of it. He has never cried since the switch. If and when I have another child I wont even waste the money on the baby tubes.  We also use the lavendar shampoo and baby wash that helps to calm then down before bedtime. As far as the water temperature we use the rubber ducky with the temperature gauge on the bottom and we make it as warm as possible without the bottom reading hot

Try doing something that will make it fun.  Maybe try rubber duckies or try bathing with your baby til she gets used to it.  Soon she will probably love it and you will have a child that splashes and gets water all over your bathroom!  :)

My son was like that for awhile, what I did was take him into a bath with me a few times and when he had his own bath gave him his soother or something that he likes to hold and play with to keep his mind off the bath, and if he was crying after the bath I do a soothing cream rub on him and do skin on skin in the rocking chair and that usually helps him relax

Hello...  I have a suggestion.  Try giving her a shower with you!!!  Hold her a show her that water is okay and it wont hurt her.  My son hated baths but then I started to give him showers. He loved showers.  now he is a bit to big for me to give him a shower so he takes baths and actually enjoys them!!!   Good luck!!

I was thinking about giving her a bath with me, but I think that she would seriously claw me up. She had some killer nails. Even when I clip them, theyre still sharp.

Have you tried the Euro Tub...it looks kinda like a bucket! http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?...

No, I have the rainforest tub that I bought from toysrus... It has the hammock so that shes not submerged in the water. Ive tried with and without the hammock.

I think I may buy this as well. Maybe if she were able to sit up shed be more comfortable.
