Sometimes you just need some goods tips and a bit of motivation. I found a really good website called www.losebabyweight.com.au - and although she is Australia based, she has lots of good tips, recipe ideas, exercises and general information that I found useful and has helped motivate me to shift the baby weight. She is also on Facebook. Good luck with your weight loss!

I have an almost 10mo old and just in the last two months I got serious and started eating right and exercising. I have an app on my phone that I calculate everything I eat and everything I do, even my housework. I am only allowed 1500 calories a day to reach my weight loss goal and I eat whatever I want. It is like my own weight watchers. You have to really be ready to do it and you will succed.

Hi Rhonda, I'm new and just saw your post. I battled with my mommy tummy months after losing my baby weight. I've written an article about my battle with this and how I was able to lose the belly fat without surgeries or going to the gym. You can find the article here if you're still interested in reading. Good luck! It can be done it just takes some time and the right exercises! http://mamainheels.com/2012/11/21/mommy-...

lol love how you worded it! I didn't gain a ton with either pregnancy (have had 2) however with the second one I definitely gained it in different areas which is not allowing my regular clothing to fit. It is very frustrating! After my first baby I bounced back within a couple of months. This second baby was a girl, I ate more 'sweets' while pregnant and gained way different with her. She is almost 7 months and I am trying to get back into my regular clothes. About a month ago I changed some of the way I was eating and started exercising at least 4x/week. I have added in more protein shakes (can get in some chocolate that way lol) and eating every 2-3 hrs. Keeps your metabolism going and extra protein is good. I have only really changed a few things, I still eat what I want (Im not a big fast food eater anyhow, just love my ice cream and chocolate) such as adding spinach to scrambled eggs or sandwiches. If you like edamame beans(soy beans) they are a great snack food and so good for you! I also had to come to realize that it does take time and I won't see results in a week! good luck :)
