how long can u leave cooled boiled water in sterilized bottles for, i use tommee tipee bottles with the powder dispensers so the formula is kept seperately in the dispenser and is added to the bottle at feeding time. so the cooled boiled water is in the bottle and kept at room temperature, not in fridge. how long can the water be kept in the bottle for?

Theoretically you shouldn't use cooled boiled water to make up feeds at all. The reason you are supposed to use boiled is water is that infant formula powder is not sterile and by adding the boiling water that kills anything nasty that may be in the milk. Hope this helps =]
