how long should you wait till you start exercising after a c-section

its been 2 in a half months since i had a csection when do you think i can start exercising??

You can start now. I started doing my regular activities after two weeks. I've had 4 c-sections. With each one it was different, but I was back to normal at least by the third week.

i started exercising after my last check which was 7weeks after cs and the doc gave me a go-ahead, so check with ur doc, and like someone said, go slow on tummy exercises.

I was told not to start exercising until after my 6 week postpartum checkup.

If you doctor gives you the all clear you can start now. I choose to wait 3 months after my c-section even though my doctor gave me the all clear. I just did light exercise but now 6 months later ive started doing hard workouts. My only advice is take the crunches slowly,start off my only doing 10 at a time as your stomach muscles will be very weak and you dont wana hurt yourself. Im up to doing 50 at a time and my muscles are getting alot stronger. Good luck

If you are feeling up to it I think you would be fine to start light exercise... thats about when I started after both of mine!
