This is a serious choking hazard, don't do it! Also you should wait before your child is 6 months old before introducing anything other than breast milk or formula into their diets, every single scrap of research shows that babies aren't developed enough to digest any other food properly before then, which can lead to problems later down the track such as poor digestive health and obesity, plus there is no nutritional value to it before then at all. I wanted to start feeding my son solids at 5 months but was told by both my health nurse, specialist and my GP to wait until 6 months.

You shouldn't be putting any cereal in the bottle!! Not safe and baby can end up eating more than they need!

None! It can be a choking hazard and it's not proven to make them sleep longer. Cereal is for the spoon only.

It's said to be unsafe and unhealthy to put cereal in a bottle.

I started with about a 1/2 teaspoon with 4 oz of formula to get my daughter used to the rice cereal. I only give her this bottle at night to help keep my stomach full and make her more comfortable. Once she gets used to this amount, I'll give her a full teaspoon. I was told the rule of thumb is 1 teaspoon for every 4 oz.

It is better to spoon feed any solids including cereal. This helps the baby learn to eat food. When you put cereal in the bottle they are not getting the experience.

None. It should not be done. It is not safe nor healthy for baby. Babies should not have solids until after 6 months as their gut is not mature and it can cause problems down the road.

It really depends upon how thick you are wanting to make it... Just experiment with it a little bit. I dunno how much 180ml translates to in oz... But in a 4 oz bottle I put about a tablespoon. Also try to make sure, while you experiment, that it still comes out the nipple when you squeeze it. Hope that helps.
