I bathe him every other day, as I was advised to by the health visitors and it works so far.

I bathe my son 2-3 times a week. I see no real reason to bathe him more often that that. He is 11 months old, and he crawls around like mad, but if I bathe him tonight, he won't be any less dirty tomorrow. Obviously there are times (like after a spaghetti meal) where he needs bathed no matter his last bath, but I am just trying to conserve water and cut down on my carbon foot print.

I've bathed my son every night after his umblical cord fell off! And, his skin has never gotten dry or irritated! He loves bath time! :D He'll cry if he doesn't get a bath by 8! And he's 4 months now!

I bath my daughter every night just be careful with different bathing products due to the fact that they can break the babies skin out. But otherwise the little man is fine getting bathed every night.

I prefer to bath my son every other day just so i dont dry his skin out as much, and even so i still put baby lotion on him everyday.

since the age of 6months (muckiness of food being the main reason) i've been bathing my son every night at 5 and get him in his pjs.
he then watches the bedtime hour of cbeebies and his has milk then its bed at 7.
i dont see no reason why you shouldn't bath them all the time if they enjoy it .. just as long as you smother them in baby lotion!!

I was told by my pediatrician to bathe my little one every second day for the first year to avoid dry or irritated skin. I suppose you can do it every day but I'd use non-scented products to avoid irritating you baby's skin :)

Just be mindful of what soaps/lotions you are using... baby's skin is much more permeable than an adults, so their body absorbs anything you put on them. It is surprising how many toxic chemicals are in products that are specially made for babies... even for national brands such as Johnson & Johnsons. You might want to try organic products if you are going to bathe him every night.

It should be ok as long as you put a bit of moisturiser or something on your baby so the skin doesnt dry out. I bath my son every night and i do find that he sleeps longer
