Hormones can cause your tear film to be different, leading to dryer eyes. Use rewetting drops (not visine, but "blink" or something like that).

its probably dry eye. i got that bad when i was in the third trimester. even if i kept blinking id find that they were still dry and sore. it went as woon as i had my daughter. when it got very sore i brought an eye bath and id rinse my eyes with cooled boiled water. it did the trick :)

I used to work @ an eye doctors office as an apprentice paraoptmetrics until I had my baby; the most likely reason that your eyes are burning is because your eyes are dry which will cause them to feel like they are burning, it's VERY common in pregnancy and if you plan on breastfeeding it may continue. My recommendation is to use the rewetting drops called Blink, they are the best, and if you are wearing contacts you may have to switch your brand to something with more moisture or just stick to glasses for awhile. If your eyes still continue to burn it's best to get them checked out to make sure it's nothing else, but most likely it's due to dry eye. ps-when you get rewetting drops, if you do wear contacts, make sure it says you can use that specific one while wearing them ;)
