I think my 3 month old is teething?

So she's showing all the classic signs: excessive drooling, chewing on fists and blankets, fussiness, waking early from naps, but my main concern is her feeding. She's been fussing through her feeds for about a week and a half and it's getting really tough. I'm stressed she's not eating enough. She even skips the odd meal or has incredibly short feeds. Do you think it's teething or should i make an appt with the doc? Should i worry about her feedings? Any suggestions on how to ease her pain so she can feed?

It is possible that she is teething! But it could also be several other things. My niece just turned 4 mnths and popped 2 teeth. she has been teething for quite some time. You just need to keep an eye on the symptoms! Good luck :D

Yeah, reflux has been one of my suspicions. She has been spitting up alot the last few days. I'll bring it to the attention of her doctor next appt.

Hard to say what the fussiness is about. Could be gas, could be that she's overfull and is maybe just tired. Or could even be reflux. My daughter had silent reflux (no vomiting) that started when she was 1-2 months old. She would scream at most of her feedings. Would be obviously hungry.. would start to nurse, then scream because swallowing caused pain. Once we figured out what it was, got her on Zantac which was a life saver.

Yes she is breastfed. Some of her feeds can last an hour or longer while others last 5 mins. Sometimes she seems satisfied after a 5-10 min feed, sometimes still fussy. Sometimes she feeds for over an hour and still seems fussy afterwards. I've checked my milk supply and I'm still full when she's fussy. I figured it may be an issue with let down but the fussing doesn't seem to happen at a particular time in the feed. It could happen right away, 5 mins in, 10 mins in, 30 mins in. I burp her and she's still fussy. I never experienced this with my son.

Most babies around 3 months old start to drool and chew their fists. It's not always related to teething. But as far as the other symptoms.. check a diaper count. As long as she has enough wet diapers, she's probably fine. Is she breastfed? It's pretty normal for babies to shorten their nursing sessions over time as they get better at it.
