for breakfast I feed my daughter a jar of fruit, for lunch a jar of veggies (depending on when she wakes up), and for dinner a meat and a jar of veggies...is this good do you think? she has been sleeping until 9:00 or 9:30 so usually i just give her a bottle and then a jar of fruit for lunch....I was just wondering because tonight I fed her a meat, and she also ate a whole other veggie

If she still seems hungry after the first jar of fruit give her more, or you can just try to feed her more, if she not hungry anymore then she wont eat it. You don't give her baby cereal with the food? If she doesn't like the cereal by its self you can try mixing her food in the cereal. This will help fill her up more as well.

I think it depends on your daughter and how much formula/breast milk she is drinking. I don't use jar food either so I don't really know how much is in them but my almost 6 month old drinks 5-6oz bottles a day and eats oatmeal with some fruit for breakfast and has a few different veggies and fruits for lunch and the same for dinner...all in all she eats about 5-6 oz of food per day.

Childrens amounts will change from child to child. A good indication on whether they eating enough is weight. Is her weight going up the way it should? Is yes then that great. You mentioned jars so i take it that is referring to baby food. As long as the jars are age appropriate amount wise sounds fine. If she seems a bit peckish in between she can afford to have a healthy little snack inbetween meals. I will suggest though that if you mainly using baby food try to give her more real food as it is better. Don't get me wrong i not completely against baby food i have used it but i have it there as a back up. my son is 9mths old he has bottle morning and night and his three meals. I also use the bowls as a guide as to how much. Don't need to fill it right up but put a good amount in. He generally has our food i think it more filling for them too. Hope this helps in some small way.
