We are going to have a small party at our home... themed with pink and probably purple or maybe silver... something simple with a beautiful cake, and then we are off on a cruise to the south pacific for 7 days ! Great way to celebrate 1 year of being a little family and making it through that first hard year !

im thinking we might have my son and my friends and family who have babies and young childen to go swimming and then meet at my place where other family members who dont have kids would meet up with us and we would have food and cake and opening gifts.

for my son's 1st birthday 28th jan we took him out for the day to a sea life centre and he had a family party on the saturday with cake .. had a buffet and played pass the parcel .. didn't wanna make too much fuss because he didn't understand completely what was happening.
