My son is 3 months and he is eating 5 ounces and then 6 before bedtime it helps him sleep better through the night and doesnt wake up as often. I didnt know how to increase anything my doctor never said anything... but he seemed hungry right after we fed him so we just kept upping his feedings till he seemed full.

I agree with Ashley. Don't add cereal. Cereal should be fed by spoon not bottle. Just add a few more ounces to his bottles. He may want some bottles at 4 ounces and some at 6 ounces. Each child is going to be different on the amount they drink and when. I have had babies that by 2 months are drinking 6 ounces and by 3 months they are up to 8 ounces. I have had others that only drink 4-6 ounces the whole time they drink formula (1 yr.).

Don't put cereal in his bottle. Try giving him an ounce more each feeding and see if that helps. Just keep adding the ounces and he'll be fine. There are also formulas for hungry babies. Your son's pediatrician can talk to you about that.

If your baby is hungry feed him, or you can put cereal in his milk that makes it more filling, at this age you cant over feed him, he will stop eating when he is full.
