you should NEVER warm bottles in the microwave...they heat unevenly and can leave hotspots in the milk even after shaking then which is a risk for burning your childs mouth/throat. Better to be safe then sorry

Yes, just don't put the nipple on when microwaving. Maybe that's what a Teat is?? LOL>

I use non-microwavable bottles so I put the formula in a mug to heat it, then dump it in the bottle & shake it up... when no microwave is available, i use a jug of hot water.

I've always been told by everyone not to walm bottles in a microwave, It might be quicker and easier but whats an extra 2 minuets just to be safe? Bottle warmers are cheap and quick or even cheeper a jug of hot water.

I'm a nurse and we were taught NEVER heat up formula in a microwave. You can put the bottle in a pot warm water and then shake.

I actually had a bottle warmer but I did use the microwave a couple of times. Again, take the nipple off. Also make sure the bottles are bpa free because warming the plastic makes the bpa thing worse. My best friend always used the microwave for her baby bottles and she never had a problem.

I've always warmed it up from day one and have never had a problem. I just shake it half way through when warming up and then again right before i feed it to my son.

you can warm bottles in the microwave, just make sure the teat is removed while doing so. you can also warm bottles up in a jug of hot water. the teat can be on while warming this way.
