Is it okay to mix baby cereals?

My daughter is 4 months old, I started her on baby cereal around two weeks ago. She eats a teaspoon for breakfast, one for lunch, and a tablespoon for supper, all barley. I'm wondering if it would be okay to give her the barley for breakfast and supper but some rice for lunch?

If it's been 2 weeks on barley, you should be fine introducing another. From what I've read/heard, you should wait about 3-5 days before introducing a new food (like rice, or wheat) just in case your bub has a reaction to it, that way you know what's caused it. Once you know a food is safe, you can start introducing the different kinds, but stay away from the mixed ones (like multigrain, or mixed fruit puree if she's on jars) until she's older.

Yes you can mix what you give her.....but instead of rice cereal i would go with oatmeal, they make it in a baby cereal, the rice cereal always made my son kinda constipated, so i switched him from rice cereal to oatmeal and he did fine....
