Acid reflux is a fancy way to say heartburn. It's just describing stomach acid that has escaped back up the esophagus from the stomach. Pyloric stenosis is one reason someone may have reflux. I'm assuming you've looked at the condition on the internet, already, but if not, Wikipedia has a good page! Several of my friends' babies have had it, & it's not fun, but very treatable!
