Here is the whole dilemma lol
I took out my Nuva Ring on October 10th and that whole week I "spotted" wasn't as heavy as my periods usually are.
The following week we had unprotected sex (quite a few times) (week of the 18th)
And starting on the 26th my nipples are sore (with my first son my boobs got sore around 8 weeks) I took a test and it said negative. I waited 3 days and took another test on the 30th, its also said no.
So I was wondering if spotting releases an egg, cuz if it does my period isn't due till November 8th (in a week)
If I am not prego why would my nipples be sore??
And if I am, how early can a blood test show that you are pregnant?
And when should I take another home pregnancy test?

It could be just the hormones re-adjusting because that happened to me when I went off the pill but I've never tried Nuva Ring so I don't know.

I did have 2 normal periods after I was pregnant and took about 10 tests that came up negative until I finally went to the doctor for a blood test and found out that I was 3 months pregnant.

I took out my Nuva Ring (which sucked becuz I loved it) because I was having serious side effects from it. We wanted to start trying for number 2 in January but we aren't trying rite now but we arent using protection either lol.
My boobs or nipples never hurt before my period or at all so thats why I think I am prego, but I am supposed to have my period this next week so we will see!!

With my son my boobs hurt as a sypmtom of pregnancy, but since having him a week or sometimes two before my period my nipples hurt (which before my pregnancy they didn't). Wait until you have missed your period and then re-test.

Wait till u actually miss your period to take a test. I do know that a friend of mine was put on nuva ring to lighten her periods. good luck either way.

Both tests are testing for HCG hormone, and it's believed a blood test can detect HCG more accurately and sooner than a urine test. But done properly, a urine test will give you a result, assuming you've missed your period :)

I was looking up info on pregnancy blood tests and they aren't even that much more accurate than regular pregnancy tests lol I am just getting anxious and want to know already lol

Dr's generally won't do a blood test until you miss a period by 2 weeks (here in West Aus). Your nipples could be sore for other reasons. I would wait until you miss your period, and then take another test. :) Hope you get the answer you are looking for!
