How do you tell the difference between all the "different" stuff?! I'm always corrected on here when I mention that my son is lactose intolerant. I'm always told that he would not be able to breastfeed, etc.
Anyways! I cut dairy out of my diet when he was a few weeks old after it dawned on us that his gas (seriously, MAN farts and burps!! haha) could be due to being lactose intolerant just like his daddy and grandma (daddy's mom) both are! He was perfectly fine after I cut out all dairy!
At his 9m well check his pediatrician told me to try dairy and see how he does. Well, we have been trying little bits since the 6th of March (few days after appt). He is very gassy and crabs off and on, also is waking after sleeping for about 6hr when he normally sleeps from 8p to 6-8a (but the waking could also be daddy's work schedule changed and that is when he gets home now). He toots while crawling (really funny actually), just constantly and he is burping again. Also, he is spitting up a tad. Do I need to continue to give him little bits of dairy to get his system used to it and to be able to build up the enzymes or what not or do I stop giving it to him? I'm not feeding him yogurt or pieces of cheese... I'm just giving him little pieces of my cheese burger or like I let him eat the piece of cheese pizza he stole from his big sister, sometimes for dinner we have a casserole or something with cheese in it. Things like that. So, to me it's not a lot, but idk!
Thank you! :) And any links to proven CORRECT information would be wonderful! :)
