Long sleeves versus short sleeves for a winter newborn?

My baby is due in January. Theoretically, this means I will want long-sleeved bodysuits in the 0-3 month range. But infants don't spend much time outside in the winter, right? So, is it better to have short-sleeved body suits and just wrap them up when they are cold? Then if they get too hot the short-sleeves will let them cool off faster? Or are the long-sleeved ones better for winter?

Babies need more layers than adults, they lose body heat quickly. It really depends on your heating. Unless your house is really hot I would go for long sleeves. When my daughter was a baby in winter, well even now as a toddler she wears a normal singlet, then a long sleeve thermal and her clothes on top.
