My daughter is 6 weeks old and sleeping through the Night!,
I think the routine of a warm bath and warm bottle does it, she sleeps from 930 to 6 am!
Jonhson's bed time bath is a mircale worker! It works wonders on my 2 yr old and my 6 week old! Just the baby in a bed time routine! Good luck!

You're baby is great! My baby is just turning 5 months and she still wakes to eat every 3 hours. I breastfeed though and they say that's normal. I guess I've learned how to work with. I also sometimes go to bed when she does or nap when she does on the weekend. That's how I've been dealing with it.

My daughter has almost the exactly same sleeping pattern. She is 6 months. She is usually in bed at 7 or 8pm and will sleep through till 4-5am, Which is great.... don't get me wrong, but it would be great if I could get her to sleep in till 6am which would work best with getting her ready for day care when I have to go to work ! If I find anything that works I will let you know ! But I was reading a book yesterday about sleeping patterns and it suggested trying to skip that feed by getting them back to sleep.... i did it last night by giving my daughter her dummy instead of her bottle and she went straight back to sleep but didn't wake up again until 10 am...... and she is my alarm clock so I slept too Opps... I felt really bad !

Consider yourself lucky! My daughter is 3 months and finally started 3-4 hr. stretches instead of 2 and I have been back to work for 6 weeks! She knows it's nighttime cuz she sleeps sound. I just can't get her to eat more than 2.5 - 3 oz. at a time, she is content with that. I know it will get better and surprisingly my body has somewhat adjusted.

My lil guy is almost 6 moths old and is a great sleeper. As he gets older, I notice more often that he is taking a nap (30-60 min) around 7 pm. So, I try to feed him, let him fall asleep, he wakes up, we do bath time, then he eats again and normally goes to sleep. He is normally up by 5:30, but so are we so it's not too bad. On the weekends, normally he eats and then goes back to sleep if that's what we do.

Ok thank you.I feel better now.I think i may start appreciating her sleep now.I just keep thinking 6am is still very early.I would b happy with 7am,maybe im asking too much of her. And i didnt know that she is sleeping through the night because she sleeps for more than 5 hours straight.

My goodnees. Your baby is a FANTASTIC sleeper for 5 months old. She is ONLY waking ONCE between 8pm and 6am, WOW!!!!

I post a lot about sleep training methods. But this is not a case for sleep training. This is a baby doing what babies do. And technically, your baby is sleeping through the night because she is sleeping more than 5 hours straight.

I'm sorry, I know you are tired, but you just have to let your baby develop. She is still so young. 50% of babies continue to wake once during the night to feed until 12 months old.

We stopped giving our son middle of the night feedings when he was 4 months, per Dr. recommendation. He would wake, we would calm him and eventually he stopped waking up. Another trick: feed him before bed, then before you go to bed give him a few more ounces, this will hopefully top off the tank and he will sleep longer.

waking once is great. My 11 month old wakes 2-4 times a night, I feed him and put him back to bed then I go back to bed. and feel increasingly like a zombie as the time goes on.

This is normal for a 5-month-old. I think this is one of those things you just have to be patient with. It will get better over time.

Same here...I've got a 5 wk old and she is starting to sleep through the night or gives us a 5-6 hour stretch. I don't bathe her everyday, but I started the routine of feeding, slight grooming or a bath and changing her, so she knows it's night time sleep. Hope it helps.

maygbe try feeding her more b4 she goes to sleep. my daughter is 5 months turning 6 months shes been sleeping through the night since 1 month..i do a routine like ill give her some baby food and then a 4oz botthle then i give her a bath and put some johnsons bed time baby lotion on here which def helps her sleep better at night and ill rock her ashe goes to sleep around 9 and wakes up at 9. so i would see if you make a routine or feed her a lil more. i also heard ppl let their baby cry for a lil bit i couldnt do that but most ppl let them cry for an amount of time and they go back to sleep. could work though hope this helps :)
