i always put books under the legs @ the top end of my daughters cot but as shes so young the pillows are the best bet, makin sure her head is higher than her legs as this makes the nose run,so it clears quicker, also a tissue with a little olbas oil (only a cpl of drops) tucked into her baby grow at night will help her to

I second the vaporizer idea...I did the same thing for my daughter when she was the dame age, 2.5 months she had a bad cough and it worked great to clear her throat. She also jsut got over another cold a few weeks ago, this time it was a runny nose as well as a bit of a cough. Thr vaporizer works awesome!! She sleeps in a bassinet still in out room and my bf an I werent sick, but we could even breath better in the morning from breathing in the clean air all night!!!

for bed time you can try putting a pillow or two under the mattress this really helps with keeping the stuffy nose at bay. my daughter just got over a cold and thats pretty much all i did for her and it really helped

If you bundle the baby up really warm, taking a walk in the misty night air is supposed to help relax everything. I know your mother would shake her head but My doctor told me to do this for croup and it works great!! Being cold does not cause a cold!!

We have a Vick's vaporizor in my daughter's room and it really seems to help when she gets stuffy. They also have different vapor oils you can buy to put in it. It releases with the steam and helps to clear nasal passages. We moved it into the livingroom when my husband was sick and it helped him, too!
