he suffers from a severe flu with running nose accompanied with a cough what should i do to lessen his suffering aside from his medication

Poor baba! Are you sure it's really the flu, and not a cold or allergy? You can burn a few drops of Eucalyptus oil in the room to hear clear his sinuses and ease breathing. Steam will do the same so bring him into the room when you're showering. You should avoid dairy products if you're breastfeeding as they increase mucous production. Garlic in your food will also clear sinuses, break up mucous on the chest and fight infection. Give him plenty of fluids, fenugreek will increase milk production, and break up mucous. Don't try to suppress the fever unless over 103F as flu viruses won't survive this temp, bodies way of killing invaders. Antibiotics are of course useless against the flu. What medication are you using?

his pedia gave him fenistil an antihistamine which is not effective coz until now my baby is still in the same condition. he has also this rinaflux its a nasal drops it can also administer through nebulizer
