Hello ladies,

My little guy has started to drool, he's biting his fist and he's irritable.

I checked his mouth and was shocked to see he has a white ridge in his gums.

The poor little guy has no clue about a teething ring and I can't give him any thing like the frozen waffles.

Has anyone done this so soon?

Any advice would help!

hello, i too thought my 3 month old was teething, took her to a dentist and apparnty not, the white bit you see is milk bumps, which can be easy mistaken for a tooth the drooling, biting, crying and all that turned out to be colic with my daughter and then she got her first tooth 6 months, every baby is diffrent thought so trust your gut feeling and bonjela can upset babys tummy especially when so young!

hello brandi,i think my 3 month old son is teething as well!!his drooling non stop and bites on his fists/fingers!!the health nurse couldn't see any thing coming through but sometimes you can't. iv'e just been giving him bottles with cool water and giving him cold face washers that he chews on....this seems to work for a bit.
also have you tried bonjela???this will numb the gum's for a while, great stuff!
i didn't think i'd have to deal with this so soon either,it's not fair!:(

Hello

My little guy is 2 1/2 months and I could see the whites of his teeth last month! They haven't come through yet, but we have the same problem.  I don't know what to do for him.  I have been giving him tylenol every now and then.  The ambasol says 4 months or older, so I don't know what else to give him.  Sorry I don't have any advice, except try putting his nipples in the freezer or fridge before feeding your little one.

my little guy is teething too. i give him teething tablets they disolve almost instantly especially with all the slobber. ive started him on a little bit of rice cereal and formula and sometime ill stick it in the frige or freezer for a sec and its kinda like a baby milkshake. and he loved it when i froze some gerber apple juice in ice trays and wrapped one of the cubes in a washcloth with a twist tie kinda helped him grab ahold of it. ive been told to try that bonjela stuff too.

have you tryed Ashton&Parsons infants powder it worked with my son he has started teething as early as your son and he is 5months old and still teething it is a very slow prosess.

My daughter started teething before 3 months too and by four months she had two lower teeth. We have a hard time because she couldn't hold a teething ring in her mouth. Our pediatrician recommended wetting a baby washcloth and putting it in the freezer. It worked great! She could keep it in her mouth, it was cold, and she liked the little bit of water she could suck out.

My little one is doing the same, he's been like this for a month now. You could try a gummy teether and teething gel, or even just rub the teething gel onto his gums with your finger. Let him chew on your knuckles too unless it hurts! Another thing to try (which I haven't yet) is teething granules, they make the little one look like they have rabies (foaming at the mouth lol) but they grind the granules between their gums and it's supposed to help.

Hi there,

First of all pooor lil man, but all babies grow and develop at different rate

My daughter did the same thing and her teeth have onli started to come through now, she was 9 months old.

I used Bonjella although it says 4 months and older there was nuthin else i could do she didnt understand teething rings, you could also try rusks but he may not get the jist of that either.

If he gets really upset and distressed then i guess the only option in baby panadol

Hope this helps a lil

Good luck!
