My son had craddle cap as well and I used baby oil after bathtime on his scalp to keep from itching. After about 3-4 days it looked much better and I could tell he was much more comfortable! My sone also had baby acne and it eventually disappeared within a couple of weeks. Hope that helps.

Baby acne is just hormone adjustment. It will go away after a week or two. Baby oil works good before a bath on the cradle cap. Then just wash off with baby shampoo.

if your baby has cradle cap you just get a cotton ball and baby oil and rub it on your babys head, i would do it daily and then let it sit and later just give the baby a bath to get out the baby oil thats what i did with my daughter...but jsut dont pick at it cause it can cause cuts on their head

My son has cradle cap as well and he is 10 months old. We use Cradle Cap Treatment lotion that comes in either a bottle or a lotion dispenser. You can find it at walmart for like 5 dollars. The lotion dispenser has whinnie the pooh characters on it. Add that liberally especially after the babies bath and then comb through the hair. After 2 days I noticed it clearing up. You could also use baby oil and a comb too. You can also try oatmeal baths for the acne. But don't pop the pimples because it will cause scarring.

My daughter had both as well. For her acne, no fragrances just water and a soft facecloth then applied aloe vera. For the scalp I used a facecloth and softy scrubbed her head it went away after a few baths.

My girl had that also & I actually quit dairy products and eggs and she cleared right up in a couple weeks! She is breast fed and I thought she might have an allergy to those as she would also spit up when ever i consumed milk or eggs. I really found that nothing else helped her condition as far as shampooing or putting oil on her scalp & brushing- just patience. washing her face gently with a warm soft rag did help with the skin a little..
